The Two New Pathways

Pathway 1: Skilled Worker Pathway

For workers already in New Zealand on a work visa

Requirements:

Currently working in NZ on an eligible work visa

Employed in a role earning at least **median wage ($31.61/hr)**

Minimum **2 years of NZ work experience** in a skilled role

Meet health and character requirements

Key Benefits:

No points test required

Simpler, more predictable process

Pathway 2: Highly Paid Worker Pathway

For high-earning professionals

Requirements:

Job offer paying **1.5x median wage or higher** ($47.42+/hr)

Relevant qualifications or experience

No minimum NZ work experience required

Can apply from offshore

Immediate residence pathway
